There are a number of different buttons used in a mobile interface, which you can try out below:
The buttons in toolbars and footerbars always have a standard look to them. These are either rounded corner action buttons or a back/previous or next button with a pointy end indicating the direction.
Action buttons are a common interface element. The are normally somewhat large in order to be easy targets for a finger touch. They also may be different colors, depending on their action.
Lozenge buttons are a variation on action buttons. The are grouped together with the two end buttons being rounded. There will be two but not more than four of them per view. They basically act like tabs for toggling addition content in the view.
Depending on the context of the data being presented, lozenge buttons can be a standalone control inside a view, or they can be either in the navigation bar at the top of the screen or in a similar footer bar at the bottom of the screen.
Segmented application controls are similar to lozenge buttons. They are stacked the same way, but have a larger, brighter appearance. Collectively, the segments in a segmented control offer closely related, but mutually exclusive choices. When users tap a segment in a segmented control, the content of the view below them will toggle to reveal additional content.
Aqua buttons are really just a visual variation of action buttons. They have a highly glossy and translucent look to them.
There are several types of indicators to signal the user that something is going, analogous to the "Please Wait" and "Loading" dialogs of desktop software. The most common one is the progress bar.
Tabs allow the user to access more content in the present view without having to navigate to another screen. This works with two or three tabs. If the content requires more than three tabs, use a swipe panel or a navigation menu that directs the user to new sections.
Tabs use segmented buttons as the tab. When the user clicks a tab, it shows the related data set, usually below. You can also use the lozenge buttons as your tabs.
